Ayo-Maria G. Olofinkua is a dynamic and results-oriented professional with extensive experience in Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation (M&E) of donor-funded interventions in health, education, and community empowerment across West Africa, particularly in Nigeria and Ghana. With an academic background in Medical Microbiology and a Master’s degree in Public Health, he has successfully led and supported numerous projects in disease surveillance, reproductive, maternal, newborn, and child health (RMNCH), HIV, malaria, WASH, and tuberculosis programs. Ayo-Maria possesses deep technical expertise in developing M&E frameworks, conducting data quality assessments, and building the capacity of health systems. His proficiency spans both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, utilizing tools such as Power BI, Tableau, R, DHIS2, SORMAS, SPSS, STATA, Epi Info, NVivo, SurveyCTO, and Kobo Toolbox to generate actionable insights that guide evidence-based decision-making and policy formulation.

Fluent in English, Yoruba, Nigerian Pidgin, and conversational Chinese, Ayo-Maria is an effective communicator who thrives in diverse cultural and professional settings. As a passionate public health advocate, he is committed to advancing sustainable development and improving health outcomes across communities. His scientific interests extend into neuroscience, where he aspires to contribute to transformative research on brain health and neurological disorders.
