About Rotary E-Club of Nigeria New Dawn

Our Purpose We exist as a 24/7, year-round Rotary club to accommodate individuals who are unable to join a traditional Rotary club due to time constraints, travel commitments, or other factors.

Our Mission We focus on international projects that support development, education, and health in developing countries, including initiatives where our own members are actively involved. Additionally, we engage in local projects that bring tangible benefits to our communities.

Our Commitment We are dedicated to upholding the ideals and objectives of Rotary International. Under the globally respected Rotary umbrella, our members receive and provide support to individuals and organizations working to improve lives and communities both locally and globally.

Our Activities While we interact daily within our group, we hold our weekly statutory meetings on Saturdays at 7:00 PM (West African Time). During these meetings, speakers lead presentations and discussions on current issues affecting our personal lives, homes, schools, workplaces, and communities, both locally and internationally. They also share solutions to these major issues, and our members discuss how they, as Rotarians, can take positive action to address them.

As a member of the E-Club of Nigeria New Dawn, you can fully participate online and enjoy camaraderie and fellowship with other members through our online gatherings. We are like a regular club, but we meet online, allowing you to join from any location worldwide.

Meet Our President — 2026/2027

Salau brings to the Rotary E-Club of Nigeria New Dawn a wealth of experience, vision, and an unwavering commitment to service. A distinguished public health expert with over a decade of hands-on experience, Salau has built a remarkable career in tuberculosis and TB/HIV disease program management — working at national, state, local, and facility levels to drive measurable impact in communities across Nigeria.

His expertise spans project planning and implementation, epidemiology, strategic information management, monitoring and evaluation, research, and quality improvement. A seasoned trainer in TB, DR-TB, TB/HIV, NETIMS, and DHIS, Salau has delivered capacity-building interventions that have strengthened health systems from the grassroots up.

As a Liaison Officer for the State Ministry of Health on both the Global Fund and USAID Challenge TB projects, he played a pivotal role in the coordination, implementation, and financial management of tuberculosis control initiatives — earning the recognition of government institutions and NGOs alike for his leadership, community engagement, and results-driven approach.

Salau is known for his energy, creativity, and strong attention to detail. Whether working independently or leading a team, he brings the same passion and precision to every task — qualities that will no doubt define his tenure as President of this club.

He holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biochemistry — Second Class Upper — from Olabisi Onabanjo University, and a National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology, also from Olabisi Onabanjo University.

As we enter the 2026–2027 Rotary year under the theme “Create Lasting Impact,” we are confident that Salau’s leadership, public health background, and deep commitment to community service will inspire our club to new heights of impact and fellowship.
