Olubunmi Afolabi is a Media and Communications Strategist, Producer, Copy and Script writer, Voice Actor, Podcast Host and Director, with over 12years of experience. He is a former General Manager of 99.9 Kiss FM Abuja, Nigeria, where he was instrumental to turning the lot of the brand around tremendously. He drove sales up by over 80% and moved the station from being number 18 on the ratings to number 3, by the time he exited the system. Bunmi is an Executive MBA graduate from the prestigious Lagos Business School, Associate Member of Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), an award-winning Broadcaster, a Google ads search expert, a Digital Marketing Strategist- certified by HEC Paris and a well sought after speaker. Among other notable achievements in the course of his still-emerging career, he has had the privilege of pioneering the “Development Now” podcast- the first podcast which solely showcases development organizations and their success stories in an exciting way. He has also had the privilege of servicing organizations such as: Canon, Mercedes Benz Nigeria, United Nations Development Project’s (UNDP) Africa Boarderland Centre, Mastercard Foundation, Total Energy, among other notable brands. He is currently in charge of Media and Communications at the Rotary Action Group for Reproductive, maternal and child health (Rotary-RMCH)’s Together for Healthy Families in Nigeria (THFN) Programs of Scale (PoS).
